I tried out fake lashes from the Kardashian beauty line, Khroma. One thing that stood out to me about this product was the glue that came with it. I didn’t realize it came with glue. In fact, I bought separate lash glue for it. I was really glad this glue came with it because it was really neat! When it’s wet, it’s this iridescent milky teal color. It dries clear, but I just thought that was very different. I’ve never seen a lash glue quite like it.
The lashes themselves looked as if they would look natural, but wow, the lashes themselves were really curled up and super long. They also had a band that was a bit too long for my eye. I had to cut a bit off the ends on the set of lashes.
They stayed a long time during the day, but in the evening my right fake lash started lifting off and I easily removed it. Then since I looked pretty silly with one eye with super lengthy lashes and one eye that now looked a bit… boring, I removed the other lash gently. That one adhered more strongly.
I don’t wear lashes, but I received these as a gift from a friend. The lash glue and lashes were comfortable. I’ve worn lashes where you can feel the glue all day and your eyelids feel heavy from the weight of it all. With these I forget I even had them on. I liked the whole experience. I wouldn’t wear these during day time – they are too dramatic, but for a night out at a club dancing, they’d be perfect. I’m afraid because of these that I may become a lash addict! I’d like to possibly find another set from them or another company, possibly, that looks natural, but very lush so I can wear them during the day. Fake lashes really accentuate your eyes, like no mascara, even Maybelline Falsies Volume Xpress (Which I’ve tried and liked for the most part). They make you look extra girly and feminine and bambi-like. Plus, you curl the lashes and use mascara on the lashes to blend them with your natural lashes, so it can make for a really dramatic look.
I threw out the box, but from the look of them, I believe these are the Blink lashes. I didn’t know what to expect from the Kardashian’s makeup line, but I’m actually pretty impressed with the quality and their innovative lash glue!
